Susan A. Buffett

Susan A. Buffett became a Director at Berkshire Hathaway in 2021. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Buffett founded the Buffett Early Childhood Institute with the University of Nebraska in 2011. Ms. Buffett also founded The Sherwood Foundation in 1999 which supports equity and social justice initiatives to improve the life of Nebraskans. Ms. Buffett is also on the Board of Directors at The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation, ONE Campaign, Girls, Inc., Teach Rock, Heritage Services, The Metropolitan Entertainments and Convention Authority, and the Chairman at Avenue Scholars. Ms. Buffett was previously a Director at The Rose Blumkin Performing Arts Center Foundation and Central High School Foundation.
