Corprate Bias Ratings
The AARP, an interest group representing U.S. citizens over the age of 50, has not terminated business relationships due to religious or political beliefs. AARP does not protect employees from viewpoint discrimination. AARP is a sponsor of Out & Equal and a corporate partner of the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce. It has supported ideological causes such as gun control and Facebook censorship. For these reasons, AARP receives a "Medium Risk" rating.
Has denied service to customers, suppliers, or vendors due to their political views or religious beliefs OR corporately boycotts, divests, or sanctions regions, people groups, or industries.
There are no publicly known instances of AARP terminating business relationships due to religious or political beliefs.
Charitable giving (including employee matching programs) policies or practices discriminate against charitable organizations based on views or religious beliefs.
AARP does not prohibit contributions to faith-based charities (1).
Uses corporate reputation to support ideological causes and/or organizations hostile to freedom of expression.
