It also uses sex and gender ideology criteria in employee recruitment, vendor selection, marketing, and philanthropic support. Apollo Global Management forces employees to undergo multiple ideological trainings and uses its reputation, corporate funds, and political influence to support controversial sex and gender ideologies, organizations, and legislation. Apollo Global Management provides a benefits package for employees which covers travel/lodging costs for an abortion and transgender medical procedures for covered employees and dependents, including children. The company is a signatory of the Institutional Limited Partners Association’s Diversity in Action Initiative, committing itself to specific actions that advance DEI within the governance and policies of the organization and the private equity industry more broadly. For these reasons, Apollo Global Management receives a High Risk rating.
