Corprate Bias Ratings
Cloudflare vets vendors according to LGBTQ policies and does not provide its employees with protections against viewpoint discrimination, but the company has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. The company covers the cost of "medically necessary transition-related care” for its employees and their children. However, it does not use its corporate dollars to fund ideological groups hostile to freedom of expression. For these reasons, Cloudflare receives a Medium Risk rating.

Cloudflare received a score of 100 on the Corporate Equality Index from the Human Rights Campaign. Among other requirements, this means that Cloudflare vets suppliers according to their LGBTQ policies (1). There are no publicly known instances of Cloudflare canceling business relationships due to views or beliefs. Cloudflare’s CEO proudly supports free speech and has resisted pressure to terminated business relationships with some sites that have been criticized by other tech companies (2).
Charitable giving (including employee matching programs) policies or practices discriminate against charitable organizations based on views or religious beliefs.
Cloudflare does not support any charitable causes at this time.
Uses corporate reputation to support ideological causes and/or organizations hostile to freedom of expression.
Through its ERG’s, Cloudflare hosts internal “antiracism” and “unconscious bias” trainings for employees. However, such trainings do not appear to be mandatory (1).
