Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) vets vendors according to LGBTQ policies and does not provide its employees with protections against viewpoint discrimination. However, IHG has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. The company covers the cost of "medically necessary transition-related care" for its employees and their children. IHG supported the Equality Act and opposed a Florida bill prohibiting the teaching of gender and sexual orientation ideology to children in K-3rd grade. The company will not donate to faith-based charities. However, it has not used its corporate dollars for ideological purposes. For these reasons, IHG receives a Medium Risk rating.
