MetaGer is a search engine focused on protecting users' privacy. It is hosted as a cooperation between the German NGO SUMA-EV (Association for Free Access to Knowledge) and the University of Hannover. The cooperation has not ended business relations based on political views or religious beliefs. MetaGer also has not used its corporate reputation or funds to advance ideological causes or policies. For these reasons, MetaGer receives a Lower Risk rating.
