TD Synnex, formed in 2021 by the merger of Tech Data Corporation and Synnex Corporation, vets vendors for LGBTQ policies and does not provide viewpoint protections for its employees. The company also hosts a Diversity and Inclusion Conference to advance DEI initiatives. Tech Data Costa Rica attended the Pride Parade and signed onto Declaracion de San Jose, a pledge advancing LGBTQ rights. TechData Italy and Germany also participated in Pride parades (2). One of Tech Data’s employees was recognized as a 2019 Business of Pride for the advancement of the company’s LGBTQ group (3).

TD Synnex has a perfect score on the HRC’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index. This score indicates the company covers the cost of “medically necessary transition-related care” for its employees and their children (1)(2). TechData Corporation’s community outreach program includes support for the Pinellas County Urban League and Equality Florida (3). The company also partners with the Florida Diversity Council (4). TechData Corp. sponsored Bleachers at the Bay and the Trans Pride March (5). In 2019, TechData Corp was the Title Sponsor of the St. Pete Pride parade (6). Tech Data is a statewide sponsor of Equality Florida (7).
