Biography:

Daniel M. Dickinson joined the Board of Directors at Caterpillar in 2007. He also serves on the Board of Directors at Right to Dream and is the Executive Chairman and Managing Partner of HCI Equity Partners, which he co-founded in 2001. Prior to founding HCI Equity Partners, Dickinson held various roles at Merrill Lynch from 1993 to 2001, including Co-Head of Global M&A, Head of European M&A, and Head of Global Manufacturing and Services M&A. From 1987 to 1993, he served as Vice President of the M&A group at First Boston Corporation, now known as Credit Suisse. Additionally, Dickinson has served as Chairman of the Board of Visitors at the Pratt School of Engineering, Duke University, was President of the Board of Trustees at Cove School, and served on the Executive Committee of the US Olympics and Paralympic Foundation.
