Lorence H. Kim, M.D.

Lorence Kim became a Board Member for AmerisourceBergen in 2022. He also serves as the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Ascenta Capital, a position he has held since January 2023. Mr. Kim is currently a Board Member for REVOLUTION Medicines since July 2022, for Abata Therapeutics since June 2021, for Flare Therapeutics since May 2021, and for American Red Cross since September 2021. Previously, he was a Board Member at Cowen Inc. from February 2022 to March 2023. Prior to his time at Ascenta, Mr. Kim was a Venture Partner for Third Rock Ventures from September 2020 to December 2022. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Moderna from April 2014 to June 2020. During that time, he was a Board Member for Seres Therapeutics from October 2014 to June 2020. Mr. Kim began his career at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director from July 2000 to April 2014.
