Ronald L. Sargent

Ronald L. Sargent joined the Board of Directors as Kroger in 2006. Mr. Sargent has also served as a Director of Five Below since 2004 and Wells Fargo & Co since 2017. Mr. Sargent served as the Head of the Catalog Division at Staples, Inc. from 1991 to 1997 and Head of North American Operations from 1997 to 2002 and Chief Executive Officer from 2002 to 2016. Prior to Staples, Mr. Sargent held various leadership responsibilities within Kroger. Mr. Sargent previously served on the board at Home Depot, Mattel, Inc., Aramark, and Yankee Candle. Mr. Sargent currently serves on the board at the Boys & Girls Club of America, City of Hope, the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, and the Advisory Board at Northeastern University.
