Dr. Sergey Brin has been Director of Alphabet Inc. since September 1998 and Google Inc. since September 1998. He co-founded Alphabet Inc. and had been President since October 2, 2015 until December 2019. Dr. Brin co-founded Google Inc. in 1998 and served as its President of Technology since July 2001 until April 3, 2011 and also served as its Assistant Secretary. He served as President of Google Inc. from September 1998 to July 2001. From September 1998 to July 2001, he served as Chairman of Board of Directors at Google Inc. His research interests include search engines, information extraction from unstructured sources and data mining of large text collections and scientific data. Dr. Brin is a featured speaker at several international academic, business and technology forums, including the World Economic Forum and the Technology, Entertainment and Design Conference.
