Silvana Battaglia

Silvania Battaglia became Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for AmerisourceBergen in January 2019. She is a Board Member for The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia since 2021 and for Aglion Health since June 2023. Prior to her time at AmerisourceBergen, Mrs. Battaglia was at Aramark as Senior Vice President of Global Compensation, Benefits, Labor Relations, and Human Resources Services from August 2017 to January 2019 and as Senior Vice President of Global Field Human Resources from May 2011 to August 2017. Previously, she served as a Board Member for The Center for Autism from November 2010 to November 2016 and was Adjunct Faculty and a Board Member for Saint Joseph’s University. Before her time at Aramark, Mrs. Battaglia was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Day & Zimmerman from October 2008 to May 2011 and the Senior Director of Human Resources for Merck from May 1999 to September 2008. She began her career in Human Resources at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Colorcon (a division of Berwind Pharmaceuticals).
