Stephan J. Downing

Stephan J. Downing has served as the Senior Vice President of American Distributions at Caterpillar since 2022. Prior to this position, Mr. Downing served as the Vice President of Distribution Services for the Americas at Caterpillar from 2019 to 2022 and District Manager of the Southeastern U.S. and Northern Europe from 2013 to 2019 and held multiple roles at Caterpillar from 2002 to 2013. Before transitioning to Caterpillar, Mr. Downing served in various positions at Perkins Engines, a subsidiary of Caterpillar, from 1993 to 2002.
