Steve Schmitt

Steve Schmitt became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Walmart in January of 2021. Prior to that he was Senior Vice President from August 2019 to December 2020. Steve also served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sam’s Club from March 2018 to July 2019. Steve was the Vice President of Investor Relations at Walmart from May 2016 to February 2018. Prior to his original time at Walmart, he was at Yum! Brand, serving as Vice President of Investor Relations and Corporate Strategy from February 2013 to April 2016, as the Director of Investor Relations from June 2010 to January 2013, as General Manager from January 2009 to May 2010, as Finance Director from March 2008 to December 2008, and as Senior Manager of Financial Planning from January 2006 to March 2008. Schmitt began his career at UPS, working as a Finance Manager from 1993 to January 2006.
