KinderCare partners with Pride Northwest. The company has promoted diversity curriculum to children and stressed the use of preferred pronouns. KinderCare does not provide its employees with protections against viewpoint discrimination, but has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. However, it does not discriminate against religious organizations in its charitable giving. For these reasons, KinderCare receives a Lower Risk rating.

KinderCare released a statement highlighting their DEI curriculum, stating “Whether your child is 6 weeks old or in the 6th grade… It’s never too early to learn about diversity, equity, and inclusion” (1). KinderCare posted on its corporate LinkedIn account stressing the importance of preferred pronoun use (2).
