Subaru vets vendors according to LGBTQ policies and does not protect its employees against viewpoint discrimination. However, the company has not publicly terminated business relationships based on views or beliefs. Subaru helped the PFLAG National Organization create resources for the LBGTQ movement and is a partner of the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. The company has donated to the Equal Justice Initiative and discriminates against religious organizations in its charitable giving. However, Subaru has not lobbied for ideological purposes. For these reasons, Subaru receives a Medium Risk rating.
