Carol B. Tome joined the Board of Directors at Verizon Communications in 2021 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of UPS, Inc. since 2020 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2003. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Tome served as the Executive Vice President of Corporate Services and Chief Financial Officer of The Home Depot, Inc. from 2007 to 2019 and Chief Financial Officer from 2001 to 2007 and Vice President and Treasurer from 1995 to 2001. From 1992 to 1995, Ms. Tome served as the Vice President and Treasurer of Riverwood International Corporation and was a Director of Banking at Johns-Mansville Corporation from 1988 to 1992. Ms. Tome served on the Board of Directors at Cisco Systems, Inc. from 2019 to 2020 and Certain Fidelity Mutual Funds in 2017. Ms. Tomer is the Founder and a Director at The Tomer Foundation and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Atlanta Botanical Garden and is a member of The Business Council and International Business Council of the World Economic Forum.

William R. Johnson serves as Chairman of United Parcel Service (UPS). Johnson has worked for UPS for 14 years.
